Today I did two things to observe the birthday.
1. At the elementary school where I volunteer the science teacher knows of my interest in history so she has me share a "history moment" at the end of each class. Today, I talked about Thomas Edison and showed the classes a cylinder record.
2. This evening, my wife and I played about a half a dozen records on the Amberola.
