That's it, I'm convinced, auctioneers must now be trolling us!

....otherwise, how can anyone explain this complete and utter stupidity?

I'm now convinced they are so interested in gramophones that they regularly read us here and are deliberately trolling us with this latest listing.

This one is another great example of withholding the truth, either by negligence or design:

Minty, hey, in its original canvas cover with original packing box? Think again!
The obvious question, "Does it wind up or spin freely", was answered with a resounding "No", first of all, but the case has very rusty fittings and looks like this when out of the bag:
Will that mold have eroded the colour or stain it? Is it too much to ask for ANYONE to wipe down an item with an obviously water proof surface using a damp cloth before taking a photo? They are quick to point out to me that it is quite moldy and probably unpleasant to handle, but does this not beg the question of wiping the mold off rather than putting it back and getting it out again with that mold just hanging around?
BTW, the first photo was not intentionally uploaded 3 times but this forum has a technical glitch as I've noticed uploading more than one photo in one go does sometimes give repeats of the first photo?

What is wrong with this apart from the horn not being shown ?
(I am going to regret asking this ....................).

I don't see the word 'minty' - perhaps they have changed the description ?
Duplicate photo's can be deleted after up-loading.
Maybe leaving the mould will 'put people off' from bidding and the price for this interesting piece of history will Ultimately be less ?
I guess you went to the auction house to have a look then ?

Just to be clear, the auctioneers never used the word "minty", that was simply my thought when I initially spotted it and thought about other possible buyers as I know many collectors will light up seeing both the box and the canvas case with it. However, having obtained the photos showing mold from them online (no, I haven't been to the saleroom), they have elected to not show them in the listing as many auctioneers would do, having been asked for them.
But they were also able to establish that it doesn't work so why not simply state that instead of "Untested", which is basically not true?!!

Well, it sold for £ 140 (to some-one on 'the saleroom' - the crowd goes "Ooooo") ...................
Quite a bargain really ?

I'm not sure it's a "bargain" exactly. I bought a practically mint, perfect working order, blue 102 from the same auctioneer 2 years ago for £110. Yes, the canvas case certainly adds value, as does the slightly decrepit card carton, but the case had rusty fittings and an unknown quantity with that possibly long-term mold spore damage. Take away the extras and the green one is probably worth maximum ⅔ to ¾ of my blue example, being generous. Is the canvas case / card box worth an extra £100 plus? Maybe to someone.

In my case, they cannot be deleted as they do not show up when I try to edit the post, in exactly the same way as they were not in my post to start with. As I said, it's a glitch with the forum!
