How to adjust Diamond Disc Speed Control Position?

I can get my latest Diamond Disc machine to run at its proper speed, but the speed knob pointer is no-where near the stop peg on the motorboard. How is this adjusted, and can it be done without removing the works from the cabinet? Thanks!

Not sure if the original service manual covers that, but it could be worth checking.

If the leathers are worn, I usually move the governor assembly along the shaft, but I dont know how successful this would be without pulling the motor from the cabinet.

Thanks, Shane; I had read this and found nothing regarding the pointer itself. The leathers look fine. I wonder if the knurled knob can be loosened to allow adjustment of the pointer, but am not sure if it's threaded, and if so, if it might have a reverse thread.
Any more suggesttions? Thanks again.

On the early A-type Diamond Disc machines, the pointer was set with two setscrews. The B- and C- type simply was mounted so you could adjust it if you needed to. You don't want it near the stop post, and there's no "80" mark to point it to, anyway. I just don't worry about it. :)
