New Old Stock Spring Motor for ??? - Look! - Make an offer!

I've had this spring motor for quite some time. It had never been unwrapped except to take these photos. The paper packing in the bottom of the carton is from 1964 and I believe it's from a German newspaper. I'm asking $40 and I'm happy to deliver to CAPS or shipping extra.
