sorry I can't add anything to this Shane except to say none of my BAs have this marking...

I must have 1000+ BAs and have noticed Made in USA on a number of them. I never gave it a thought. Sometime I will make a systematic study of them to correlate dates. Apart from Edison, stamping a manufactured good Made in USA certainly did not begin as late as the 20's. Just last night, I was looking at a stack of single-sided Aeolian Vocalion disks dated 1916 and they were stamped Made in USA in the shellac near the label.gramophoneshane wrote:Thanks for the information Rod, though I have to question how accurate it is.
It seems kind of odd that out of 500+ BAs in my collection, this is the only one with Made in USA, yet all but about 6 were exported from America when new. I've also spoken to 2 other local collectors with massive BA collection, & they too have never come across this before.
I guess if it is true that this was done in the mid 20s, then it must have been done for an extremely limited time, otherwise I would expect to find many mid 20s title that turn up here with this mark..
