Hello to all; i am real new to this, but i'm hooked already. I just bought a victor VV-IV table top i guess you would call it. And a floor model VVX-IV. i'm confused on putting the soundbox on the tonearm. when i install the screw & tighten it, i can't lower down to the record.SHOULD THERE BE SOME TYPE OF GASKET OR WHAT EVER IN THE END OF soundbox? Am i supossed to make the screw loose to play? i need a few missing parts too. i need the speed(rpm)adj screw and pointer for speed indicator on the VVX-IV, and the spring for the lever to stop & play. Also how tight do i push down on the pin on the cast iron black horn top to hold the tone arm. should there be grease there to? thanks for any help on these headaces. but i think i really like fartin around with them. Is there a good book to buy that has pictures & gives me info on many of my questions ? ?
? ?. thanks in advance.!! Rich in PA.
