I came across this today on eBay and had to chuckle:

"Up for bid is an older Vaseline jar about ⅓ full of vintage Victrola phonograph needles. We picked this up recently at an estate sale. One or both items might be what you are looking for. I would guess the jar contains at least 150-200 needles. Both items great collectibles for a variety of collectors!"

Ebay Listing from 9/2011...

A piece of a Victrola or phonograph. Looks to be in fair condition. I could not find the switch to start it so it is untested. Looks to be well lubricated. Felt has moderate wear, includes crank handle. Looks like a half case, not sure. No tine-arm, sold as-is
