I have a Columbia Grafanola (no lid model if that matters) and I cannot remove the reproducer from the tone arm. VERY STUCK. I tried WD40, putting it in a freezer for 24 hours, even mild heat. No luck, still frozen to the tone arm. I can get the pin to push in & out but cannot twist the reproducer off. Any suggestions? Thanks!

WD-40 is a terrible lubricant. It was intended as a rust-proofer. Get some real penetrating oil like Kroil, let stand 12-24 hours, and use a strap wrench gently to get more leverage.

Why must it be removed? It's probably somewhat swollen due to pot metal degredation. To force it will break the neck off. If you want to regasket it I believe it can all be done from the front with no need to remove it from the arm.
