It looks like it has potential as a nice project as long as whoever buys it is aware of all the issues and mismatched parts.

That horn, if I am not mistaken, is authentic. It was some kind of gadget you could buy. Its kind of like a space saver reflex horn?

Yes, it IS a horn, there are pics in one of the Fabrizio / Paul books of at least one example.

I thought it was very interesting. Something just quirky enough to catch my attention. Looks like there will be alot of interest. Will be interesting to see what it goes for.

Well I see this went for over $2000.00. What kind of horn is this? Did someone on the forum win it? Would like to hear more about it if anyone knows.

The horn was an "Echo-Tone," advertised briefly in 1908. The one we showed in Antique Phonograph Accessories & Contraptions was brass.
