Recently picked up a bunch of 78s at a thrift shop. On a few some child had decided it would be great fun to mark up the labels with crayons. Found it all comes right off with “Goo Gone” with no noticeable adverse effect on the label.

Thanks for the tip! I did this to a lot of my 78s (but unfortunately used marker) before I could read in order to mark which sides I "liked."
