Hi All,
I just got back fron a local Antique show. One of the vendors had a two clip Edison Standard for sale. The lid had a crack, the oak base board was missing, motor ran fine but with later crank. Bed plate was decent with some rust on back rod and reproducer clips. It had a Model A Automatic Speaker with the arm that says reproducer. It was complete with stylus. I would really like to just have the reproducer to put with my suit case Home and sell off the rest of the parts. The fellow wants $350.00 for it, so what do you think the reproducer is worth and what might i be able to sell the rest for??
thanks
Pete

Was it the automatic speaker or the automatic reproducer? This is a credible difference between the two as well as in price. Either way $350.00 is not that bad especially if you sell off the rest and keep the reproducer. Maybe he/she will take less for it. I would go for it.

I am looking at page 134 of Al Sefl and Frow's Edison Cylinder Phono Book. It is just like the one in the picture with the round bottom weight.
