Does anyone in the U.S.A. make these very lightwight reproduction aluminum talking machine horns? There are several EBay sellers selling them over the big river in the U.K. BUT the shipping cost to the U.S. is more than the actual horn! I bought one recently and it looks great on all my Columbia cylinder phonographs such as my Type A etc. But again, it cost me $85.00 to have one shipped over to New Jersey!! VERY well made and very lightweight. I've seen them in three different sizes too.... Brian Keith

Jean-Paul Agnard in Canada makes excellent reproductions of the Columbia aluminum horns as originally supplied on U.S. machines. Just Google his name and his online store will come up. If you're going to Wayne this weekend, he will be there and could possibly have a horn for you. I'd contact him.

Yes, I looked at his site - nothing like these horns unfortunately.

I just checked and you're right. Funny - he used to have them. In any event, there's a good chance that someone will be selling one at Wayne this weekend. Good luck - -
