Maybe O/T: How to embed Youtube Videos in posts?

Can anyone please provide step-by-step instructions on embedding youtube videos on this forum? I've tried following youtube's instructions and going it on my own here, but haven't been successful yet.

Here I am again, puzzling over embedding Youtube videos in posts. Can anyone tell me of updates in procedures since my original request in 2011? Thank you very much.

Make sure the link is http, not https. Also make sure the URL specifies youtube.com, not youtu.be or other site.

Thank you, thank you! The problem was with the "https" issue. Removing the "s" took care of it!
