Anyone have a motor for a two-barrel, 1916, VV-VI they might be willing to part with?

I know it's not what you asked for but there is a rebuilt 2 spring single barrel for sale on eBay. Maybe worth consideration if you have no alternative? They're asking only $65 for it.

Many thanks - But I tried one of these already, and the various screw holes don't match up.
I appreciate your calling this to my attention!

the crank probably won't properly line up either, and the speed control system on this motor is a bit more elaborate and would cause additional complications if you tried to play around with and modify it. it would be best to stick with your search for the correct motor for your specific machine... luckily, that style seems common enough to find.

Thanks to both of you... and I think I've tracked the right motor down.

This motor is available if it's what you need. The photo is fresh from my attic. Jerry Blais

Thanks, Jerry! I've just paid for a similar motore; but if it doesn't work or have the right springs, I'll be in touch!
