Can anyone shed some light on this? It looks like an E but has a C tag, is this a very late C?

Is it just me or does the top deck look to big like a motor board from a different Victor has been mounted on the machine?

That's what I thought at first, but the tops on C's are not beveled just like this one, and "Look for the Dog" says that late C models look like E's
