Wow can you believe that a so so condition label is going for more than $ 75.00 on ebay? It is a copy of "Hallelujah!" in the 52000 series Diamond Disc, but geez that much for a torn label? What would it even go for?
I have been seeing alot of edison 52000 series going for some big bucks and anything over $ 50.00 for me is big bucks and thats being liberal.

The Edison electrics start at 52089 and are highly sought after. Even dull titles sell for at least $20-30 for a clean record. I think the prices have come down since a year or two back when someone was paying insane prices on eBay.

It's a Golden Gate Orchestra DD, so it's going to command a premium price, they all seem to. The band was red hot and their Edisons are treasured by many, including me. Would I pay that for this particular disc? No, I think my copy was more like $15 at a phono show, but as I've said before eBay prices tend to go all over the place for records, just yesterday one of our members sold a Melba disc with it's original Melba sleeve for almost $400, the most I've ever seen one of these sell for. $150-200 is usually the going rate for these. All it takes are two people with deep pockets....
