Salter Record Cabinet

A couple of years ago I locally found a nice Salter disc record cabinet missing the inner dividers. As time went on a fellow collector helped me find a plain flat front Salter donor cabinet to transplant the guts with all the same dimensions as the bowed front model. After delicately disassembling both cabinets I was able to bring this one back to life with no alterations. It has the original finish and I was pretty happy with the end result. I just thought I would share a couple of photos. My next project is a double door Herzog cylinder cabinet ready to be reassembled.

Excellent restoration! What is the carved machine to the left and behind?

Very nice indeed! John, I think that's a Brunswick...

Thank you for the compliments, I was pleased with the final results. And as to John's question, the machine in the background is a Brunswick model 350 in brown mahogany that I had delivered on New Year's day. It needs a good thorough cleaning and is on the list of things to do soon. here is a picture.
