Victor victrols 18 what are thy worth.

I am looking at purchising a VV XVIII.
It has bean refinished.
What would be a far price?

Usually around $2000 but pictures would be helpful to see exact condition.

I agree with the photo idea. A mahogany one might be around $2500 and a Circassian one $15,000. Is it spring driven or electric? Those things make a difference. Jerry

A lot depends on the quality of the refinishing- a bad job or the wrong finish will reduce the value.

I agree with Jerry on price. If you can tell it's refinished then it's worth less.

I decent XVIII in a Maine auction went for $900.00 a few weeks ago. Have enough 18's so I didn't
go. Who knows what it would have went for. I would say the value is $1500 for a refinished machine and $2000 for a nice original.
