I am looking for a modest graphophone in mahogany. Such as the BZ. Horn not important. May consider a backmount cylinder machine if the price is right. Thanks!

I've always like the BZ but I suspect it has a "mahogany" finish. I'm splitting hairs here but machines like the BZ and Vic O were made out of cheaper woods that looked very similar to mahogany when given a mahogany finish. Please don't let me stop you in your search for a BZ. Jerry Blais

True: Baumbach & Lackey describe the BZ as having a 'boxwood cabinet finished in mahogany color'.
Must have been a different kind of boxwood than I'm thinking of, the sort used for wind instruments, chess pieces and the like; as that tends not to grow big enough for making cabinets....
As far as I know, the least expensive mahogany Graphophone was the BNWM.
