Help identify this horn

This horn came with a standard edison phonograph. Seems all of the old restore jobs I find have a wierd mixture of parts. It is 11 panel. I can't make out the label and would be nice if someone recognizes it. thanks

Not really enough of it left to decipher - unless you happen to be an expert on horn manufacturers.
Anyway, it seems to be a fairly conventional "after-market" flower horn, bought as an improvement over the factory-issue Edison horns; there were probably hundreds of companies making these at the time....

Im actually surprized it hasn't been identified yet. I would have thought someone out there would have had a horn with an intact label, and would have easily recognised what remains of this one.
Is it a decal or paper label?
Here's an ad that appeared here in Oz, in Dec 1907, but judging by the price (and banner transfer), they were getting rid of old stock.
I assume your "art shade" flower horn is also 30", and your Standard shows no signs of ever having an attached crane?

Send and e-mail to Don Gfell. He actually makes Edison Music Master horns, and they are of superb quality. If anyone can answer the question, It's Don. He's the Edison "Horn man". You can shoot him an e-mail at:

Well, I wish SOMEBODY who knows what it is would come forward! I've googled, off and on, for several hours over the past few days, trying every possible combination of wild-card searches I can think of and - nothing!
The best I can tell it's M - O - something - something - something - something - something... M - E - something - A - something - something - something - something.... MANUFACTURERS - something - something... PHONOGRAPH - something - something - something - something - something - something.....
...it's the sort of thing that always drives me nuts.

To me it looks like "MOL - - - - METAL Co. MANUFACTURERS OF PHONOGRAPH HORNS." But what's that company name? It might be "MOLINE", as there were/are a number of metal manufacturing companies in and around Moline, Illinois. Buddy-L toys were manufactured there!
It's only a guess, though...
