Triumph horn crane

Hi

I recently bought this horn crane, does any one know if it is meant to have a top support? The second picture shows the horn I would like to use on this machine, but it seems to me to be too heavy being only supported at the base. The arm will extend out another 12 inches or so, allowing for a larger horn.

Thanks Marcel

Your crane is a Tea Tray Company No.200, and it's complete - no upper stabilizer. All of the Tea Tray Company's horn cranes were described and pictured in an article in the September 2011 issue of The Sound Box.

Marcel, I think having the lids hanging below each machine is a great idea. The lid is a very problematic part. Some ( I won't say who) have a closet full of lids.....

Hi

Lids are always a problem when you have a shortage of room, I just got some plastic covered cup hooks and they have hung there ever since.

Thanks for the information George, I would like to see this article in the sound box.

That horn looks very unique. Can you post more pictures? Does it collapse?

It looks like an Ideal Folding Horn to me, but there may have been an Australian equivalent!

I just noticed the horn too. Very cool and I'm sure very rare indeed.
