I have had my victor junior for sometime now, everything is correct, and everything works. I have researched and have an idea of value, but I have yet to see any come up for sale to really be sure. Most of what i find is pictures and no price tag? just curious more than anything...

Congratulations on the Vic Jr. It's really quite an unusual machine. In my opinion the value depends on a couple of things. The first thing I look for on a Junior is the decal. You're buying a decal and if it's not really good, it's a big drawback. It's also a big big plus if it has the red flowered horn. I suspect only a fraction of the Juniors have the red horn. I don't know much about current value but a good friend of mine purchased a Junior at Union in 2008, a short time before the economic downturn. He went to Union and was hoping to find a nice Trademark machine but every one that he looked at had some kind of flaw. Either the horn was reproduction or the reproducer or something else. Anyway, he couldn't find exactly what he was hoping to buy. If my memory is correct, the prices for the Trademarks ranged from $4,000 to over $5,000. I was busy looking at other things and noticed the nicest Victor Junior I had ever seen. The decal was perfect, the red horn was nearly flawless and I believe the price was $3,500. When my friend expressed disappointment with the selection of Trademarks, I suggested he look at the Junior and added that you'll never regret buying quality. A short time later he returned with the Junior. I don't know the final sale price but I suspect it was over $3,000. Jerry Blais
