Just to let all collectors know,
I just sold this machine, with its dented witches hat horn, that was a marriage to the machine.
the machine works fine and is in original condition, however..the story this seller has on his ebay add is 100 percent False. The motor was not cleaned and greased, and the reproducer was rebuilt, but in a semi quick fix manner. It did not come from a Connecticut estate, and no, my parents are not a retired couple of 40 years moving out of state.
We all buy and sell things, and what other people do with an item is their business. I however was not going to sleep well tonight unless I gave a bit of truth to collectors.
So there you have it ...

Completely aside from whether the ebay seller is tellling the truth or not, I don't understand why folks feel that their ebay descriptions need to run on so much that one feels as if one is reading a short novel. As a general rule though, the wordier the description, especially when it's full of details about how great the people you bought it from were, how you wet yourself 'cause you were so excited, etc. etc., make me wonder what the seller is covering up.

As a general rule, when an eBay seller has more terms & conditions than item description content, it's a very bad sign. This seller has 7 negative feedbacks in the past 6 months, which should also tell you something.

In addition...the guy sounds like he is auditioning a screenplay for an epsiode of "American Pickers"...that auction smells from head to toe. John
