I don't know about the label itself, but the recording should be from late 1927...

Nice website, but most of the information provided about the labels is wrong.
In some cases, it's almost like he just made up dates for the labels when he couldn't find any info.

and it is sold in budapest in the kodály zoltán music shop. but minimum 20 years ago. i know the numbers of the seller on the label, it was 60 forint.

Well, that's interesting. Here is the stamp on the other side....part of a stamp. So, this record came all the way to Canada from Budapest??.

sure. more 100's or 1000's are sold from the big hungarian dealers to west europe and overseas. this busines exists today too, you become gramophone records for 60 forint (cca 35 cents) if you buy more (lot). but this record was sold in the public shop, the lots have never price.

I'm pretty sure the "80 Umdr." on the upper right means "80 revolutions."

I have collected a small number of the Vox and Electro Vox records. They started out as acoustic recordings and later switched to electric. That pretty well dates them to the 1920's. A few of mine are good foxtrots. You can hear examples from other collectors on YouTube.
