Any Info on Manhattan Record?

Was at a local thrift shop today and picked up a number of assorted 78s. (They, surprisingly, managed to only smash a few of them!) Among them were these 3 records with labels I have yet to see, anyone have any info?

As it says on the label, these were sold by certain retailers in different cities. The records were pressed by Columbia and were regular issues, much like Columbia's other "client" brands, but Manhattans aren't nearly as common as most of the others (such as Silvertone). They're not rare, but somewhat uncommon.

Here's a snippet from "American record labels and companies: an encyclopedia (1891-1943)" by Allan Sutton, Kurt R. Nauck:
MANHATTAN RECORD (c. 1909-1915 /Lateral) Produced by the Columbia Graphophone Company for several retailers, including the Simpson Crawford Company (New York), Siegel Cooper & Company (Chicago), and the Henry Siegel Co...
You might want to cross-reference some of the titles against those released by Columbia. For instance, I noticed that "I PURITANI SELECTIONS" appears in Columbia's catalog; record #A5045; recording date 1907; matrix #

David

Interesting: here's a Manhattan derived from an early,
announced Columbia:[youtube]
