Hello,
I don't know too much about late Victrola's, but was offered a VV 8-10 for $40.00. It has a broken spring. I was going through my copy of " Look For The Dog" and it doesn't even list that model number???? Is this an odd model??
thanks
Pete

Have a look at
http://www.victor-victrola.com/8-10.htm
Spring repair shouldn't be much of a hassle.

If you have any interest in phonos I would go for it. Being that cheap will let you feel like you can experiment with it a little. Good way to learn without too much worry.

A friend of mine has one of these, it's basically the 8-35 without record storage, complete with metal horn, I'd go for it. You'll be very pleased with the way it sounds once you get it running!
