I am offering a very interesting and early Edison Standard. It is a two clip, square top Standard that was built in 1899. It is my opinion that it was dropped sometime very early in the 1900's and badly damaged. It was expertly repaired with parts that were current with the "New Century" Model A Standard. The carriage is Model A Standard as well as the carriage rod. It is all original including the deck paint and finish except for a recent belt. I am happy to answer any questions. Please note the photo detailing the castings for the carriage rod. The repairman drilled through the replacement rod and into the casting. The rod is secured to the deck with small threaded pins.
