I just received a copy of "Collector's Guide To Edison Records " by George A. Copeland and Michael W. Sherman. The book has a wealth of informaton such as label identification and dating. An Appendix of Matrix/Catalog numbers for those discs that do not have a catalog number on them. There is a lot of information for the Edison Diamond Disc collector.
I purchased the book from Nauck's Vintage Records http://www.s78rpm.com. The book is well worth the purchase price of $16.00. I highly recomend it !
I recently took my Edison S-19 out of many years of storage . Cleaned and oiled it. Added a new grill cloth. It is a good thing it has casters as it now lives sometimes in the Living or Dinning Rooms. I have been rediscovering the wonderful sound and presentation of the music from a Diamond Disc. I only had a few discs with the machine so have been busy buying them on EBAY.

I agree with your assessment of "Collector's Guide To Edison Records," AND a bargain to boot!
