				Considering selling my Edison C250

My Edison C250 in Mahogany is beautiful, it sounds lovely and has maybe 25 discs with it. It's really in incredible condition. I really just have no place for it, don't really care for the music on the Edison discs that I have located and even though I have an adapter that could probably be made usable, I just really don't have the space. I am considering selling it. I know things are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, however i was wondering if I could get some guidance about what would be a fair price. Off the top of my head I think $400 would be a number I'd feel at peace with. I was wondering what prices you have seen these sell for. I would not try Ebay due to the shipping and limited audience if I sold for "pick up only". Thinking more craigslist, consignment or word of mouth.

Well if it's really in "incredible condition" it should be worth $400 but without some good, detailed pictures it's really hard to say. People's opinions on what constitutes excellent condition varies a lot. Also, as you pointed out, transportation is a huge issue with these behemoths and Craigslist would be a better option than eBAY.
Posting a few good pics here would get a better assessment and maybe a buyer.

I'll probably post a video with a full walk around tonight. I'd really love to sell it to someone who loves these machines as opposed to someone to use as an accent piece.

Ok, so here is a link to images and a short video with me rambling in the background. If there is anyone willing to pick up in the Albuquerque area I'd entertain any reasonable offer. I have it on Craigslist for $400 including the records but I can do better.

On the good side, the C250 is a nice machine.
On the bad side, the consumers of the day thought it was nice- and Edison sold a lot of them- a surprising amount of them for a high end machine.
If you offer it on Craigslist get the adapter into working shape first.
