Rough condition and missing the tone arm- and that will not be easy to find.

Thanks for the photos. Never seen one before, except in one Columbia record sleeve having the advertisement.
It's a hard task to rescue this marvel, for lion hearted men or women... provided with time, patience and the necessary knowledge and tooling.
Nice challenge!

I'm not on FB and I don't have a problem seeing the marketplace ads.
This is worth going after just for the $200 worth of tubes in the amp (if they are good). Even if they aren't the rest is well worth $81.

You can have a Facebook account without using any personally identifying information. I have an account strictly for marketplace, antique phonograph groups, antique radio groups, vintage car groups...I don't use my real name, I use my first and middle name (which could pass as a last name). I use only my real location (city/state). Nobody can look me up from the past - I can contact people if I choose, however. I even created a separate email account strictly for FB use. I held out as long as I could, but more and more people moved to selling there and away from Craigslist - Letgo and Offerup are pretty much jokes...

Beware the power transformer in this machine..the 81 filaments are wired in series so if the power transformer is bad you will need a rewind. A 15 volt filament replacement transformer is not easy to findInigo wrote:Thanks for the photos. Never seen one before, except in one Columbia record sleeve having the advertisement.

Having a new power transformer made isn't a big issue anymore, some bigger ones are in the $175-$200 range, smaller ones in the $100-$150 range.victor 15-1 wrote: Beware the power transformer in this machine..the 81 filaments are wired in series so if the power transformer is bad you will need a rewind.
