Yes you did, That is one of our project machines , it was missing the mechanism when we found it , we were fortunate to have found a basket case US Opera mechanism ,hopefully one day we will get the old boy singiing again.
That is absolutely beautiful. The farthest to the top of my want list. I think they are one of the most unique and beautiful phonographs to have ever been built; and the bedplates are just fantastic!! Where did you find your cabinet?

Hi Ben , We found it advertised on Facebook a few years back , the ladies father had passed, leaving her his house and contents, it had been in her fathers possesion since she was a child. It was in Baton Rouge Louisianna. I hopefully will get around to put it together in 2024. Larry

Hi All,
Getting back to the original post I wanted to thank all those that posted and helped.
Once I get started on the cabinet I know that I will have to make a small drawer!
James you were right, looking back inside the cabinet there are sliders for the drawer to ride on.
