I am seriously thinking of getting a replacement for the spindle gear on my Talk-O-Phone: it is so worn that, even with the best adjustments I can make, the motor is quite noisy - not to mention its irritating tendency to work loose every so often, causing a tremendous uproar…
I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone have a source for this - a parts machine or something? (I could also use the spindle as well, considering there's some damage to the top end)…
I'm also still looking for a motor board latch shaft (I had heard that they may be identical to those used on some Columbia machines, but am not certain of that).
Faute de mieux, does anyone know of a good machinist who could possibly make a copy of said gear?
Bill

I have a complete but disassembled motor, along with a stack of cabinets. I'll check to see whether the parts that you need are in good condition.

Re: WANTED - Talk-O-Phone parts - FOUND (mostly)
Finally got the motor parts, and wrestled the motor into some sort of shape (I think it's marginally less noisy than it was before).
All I need is a correct motor board latch shaft.
