I saw one for sale on craigslist about five or six years ago. In addition to a fat tonearm, it was fitted with a #2 sound box. It also used a louvered pre-Orthophonic style horn. There's also an illustration of this model on page 235 of "The Victor Data Book," by Robert Baumbach.

If you play an LP on a Victrola the weight of the arm and a steel needle would cut in.I tried playing junky LP's on a Victrola just to fool around,and,boy,do I know!! And,I think for starters the purchaser should see if they can get the CORRECT Orthophonic tone arm and reproducer.edisonplayer
