A Note of Thanks

Post by ejackett »

I recently purchased a Columbia Grafonola L-2 (in Walnut) for 80.00. I was told by several members that it was a rare one in the fact
that it was walnut, so I decided to keep it, however the 4 spring motor had either 1 or 2 of the springs broken, so I was reluctant
to put more money into this machine, since the top end value is only about 2 or 250.00 at most. Several members suggested Ron Sitko
as a person to fix the motor. I called and talked to Ron and Monday of this week sent him the motor. Well today is thursday and I just
got the motor back from Ron, it purrs like a kitten:) and the price was well within what I wanted to spend. Ron did a great job and
the members who suggested him did me a great favor recommending him, so THANKS TO ALL OF YOU and especially Ron. The machine runs and
sounds very good.

It is always great to see someone saying thanks!
Not had to say but so many people never even go to the trouble.
Good work should always be appreciated and a simply "thank you" always goes a long way.

I have dealt with Ron Sitko for over 15 years for parts. Great guy. He has made most of my repairs possible. He is always eager to help with advice. He has very good original and repro parts at very reasonable prices. He manufactures all his own main springs and many other parts. Most repair places use his springs. He carries a lot of parts from small screws to motors and everything in between. He is a great asset to the phonograph community. Thanks Ron.
