I found this on facebook and have been watching (actually listening to) the progress:

I cannot tell much of any, if any, difference between the first play and the 90th.

The person running the test has a beautiful instrument to use for testing!

I didn't notice a drop off in sound either I guess a well cared for 78 with a change of needle per play will still sound good after many plays on a well set up machine.

An interesting and fun tune, but I bet it gets tiresome after 100+ plays in such a short time.
