I need a decent mandrel for my Columbia BQ 2/4 min. machine. From a previous post in the machines section, the mandrel is the same for a BQ, BK, and BKT. The existing mandrel is still pretty ratty after I cleaned and removed the rust. If one is available, please contact me.

Post a pic of your current mandrel. I would like to see how pitted it is. I have been able to remove pitting by putting the mandrel shaft in a drill and while rotating it, place it against a belt sander. When done, polish it back to a shiny finish...
