That machine was at Union wasn't it? I think it was in a booth directly across from the seller on ebay, Musical Treasures of Miami (where the VV-XX sat at Union). Either it changed hands there, or the Mus. Treas. of Miami booth was bigger than I realized..

mi⋅gnon
–adjective
small and pretty; delicately pretty.

Doesn't look very mignon to me.

Here are some pics of my Columbia Mignon - just got it (thanks to Mark Ginter) this past week. It's all original, except for the turntable felt. I did NOT pay anywhere close to $10K for it, by the way....

And one last one - this machine has an interesting key, so here's a shot of the key:

Hey Matt can we re-negotiate our price??

I don't know if he will get $10K, but it is worth a try I guess. That is the one picture on Baumbach's website. I think that it is the only one that has been found in Circassian Walnut. That was a veneer that was rarely, RARELY used on a Columbia......

Mike Patella of Florida had it for sale at Union.

Mark, could you or someone send me the link to Baumbach's website? I did not know he had one.

Thanks, bruce

$1ok does seem a little bit much to pay just to get the only one with walnut finish. That might be a stretch but no doubt it's rare if not one of a kind.
