I was cleaning and re-gluing loose labels on some Diamond Discs the other day, and stumbled across an interesting mistake. It appears as though some Edison employee who didn't have enough coffee that morning had attached the label to the wrong side of the disc, and instead of removing it, they pasted the correct one over it. Probably not unheard of, but the first I've seen!

I've also run across this "mistake" a few times.
By the way, do you use a particular glue when replacing labels on DDs?
Thanks.

Re: Edison Diamond Disc Label Mistake
I don't recall noticing this mistake before but I've got at least one etched label disc that is miscoupled. 82221L coupled with 80614R I've also got 50995 coupled correctly but both paper labels are 50995L.

I've found a simple acid free glue stick to be quite sufficient.gibsonj wrote:I've also run across this "mistake" a few times.
