Sean,

I sent two e-mails.
No response yet.
My brother is waiting in the wings to pick it up until my son arrives on the 4th.
I'm hoping I hear from the seller today. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

If you haven't heard back yet after two emails, well, good luck. The vultures tend to circle around the good bargains on craigslist pretty quickly these days.

I just got an e-mail from the seller.
The e-mail contained only two words....
It's gone.
:(
Thank you to everyone who wished me luck.

Sorry to hear Gene, I had my fingers crossed. I was probably already late as the ad had been up for 23 hours when I posted. My experience has been that the deals go lightening fast here in Chicago.

Dee,
Thank you again for unselfishly listing the ad and at least giving someone here a chance to maybe purchase the XVIII.
I hope that it went to a forum member and not an antiques dealer looking to flip it for a profit.
When we are passionate about things (like phonographs), it is disappointing when a purchase falls through .
Best wishes,
Gene
