I have had this machine for a year or two, I bought it, fixed it up a bit then it has just sat in a cupboard, I don't think I will get around to finishing it so it is for sale.
I am selling it as a whole however I will probably sell parts if requested.
the Pathé reproducer is original to the machine and includes the sapphire stylus although there are no gaskets. I removed the crumbling old ones and never got around to buying replacements.
the tone arm is good and it is solid, the back bracket is great, small amount of rust, nothing major.
as you can see, it has had a hard life, and it could do with a nice new home!
any questions just ask.
Open to offers on either the machine or any parts
thanks

£140
or an Edison model H reproducer + £30
the parts alone have to be worth more than that!

I haven't sent any machines to the US before so I am not too sure of a quote off the top of my head however I can tell you the dimensions if that helps?brianu wrote:kirtley2012 wrote:£140

the back bracket, tonearm and soundbox can all be shipped inside the case.
the dimensions are:
16 ¼" x 16 ½" x 8 ½" and the weight is 6kg without packaging
I don't suppose shipping by freight will cost as much as airmail

This undoubtedly should be filed under "epically dumb questions," but just to confirm: the photos show everything? I.e., there is no motor, turntable, or whatnot?

Unfortunately not, when I got it it had been fitted with a motor from a portable so I removed that (it did not even fit in properly although I could put that back in so it fits properly)and the horn and elbow was nowhere to be seen, luckily the back bracket, tonearm and reproducer are all quite good, and the case is repairable, then it only comes down to finding a motor, horn, elbow and turntable.drh wrote:This undoubtedly should be filed under "epically dumb questions," but just to confirm: the photos show everything? Well, this is one hot mess.
I tell you blokes, probably not worth bothering with.
