Looking for that special record...???
You might want to head to Detroit to see what's available...

Wouldn't it be kind of difficult to drag a phonograph up near the roof to play one of those?
Maybe a portable, but if you own a console model, it would definitely be challenging...

And, the titles are kind of hard to read from the ground, at least for an old guy like me...

Obviously, somebody didn't quite understand when advised to install vinyl siding.

Are they 78s or long playing records.
Has anyone been inside to see what other records he has?
He must be constantly replacing them every time there are big winds!
I think it is great! I would enjoy seeing any other pictures. Ha ha

This house is part of the Heidelberg Project, a group of abandoned houses in a Detroit neighborhood. In 1986 artist Tyree Guyton in an effort to bring color into an otherwise bleak landscape began decorating the houses, yards and empty lots with found items and bright colors. The city didn't see it his way and attempted to stop the project until the art community prevailed and the it was allowed to stand. Google "Heidleberg Project" for more information including pictures, history and the current state and use of the project.
