very nice machine. I prefer these over the VV-IX. I love the gold hardware. That looks like a fun project. Clean up the finish, it may look ok with some cleaning and restore-a-finish. Sometimes, I just strip and refinish. Also, one you get that motor sorted out and cleaned its going to be a awesome machine. It would be cool to see some pics along the way, and the finished machine.

I agree, very nice. I have a table model XI that was one of my first machines ever, I'd love to have the matching cabinet. I wouldn't even consider stripping and refinishing that, I've saved original finishes that were much worse looking than this one.

Congrats on the nice find. It certainly will be a worthy project and to have the matching record cabinet is icing on the cake. All the cabinets I've seen in the past for the table top XI and XII have the built up molding to set the machine into. This one with the holes to set the feet into is a nice and unique find. It there a makers name on it anywhere or any markings.

Best Regards, Larry

Can't wait to see the finished product. Having the matching cabinet is a huge bonus.

Keep us posted as things progress. With the XI, I always thought the table models are much handsomer than the floor models.

Rebuilt the reproducer then cleaned the springs and reassembled the motor. Had to replace the little pin that connects the winding gear to the spring winding shaft, all the other parts were there! Put it all back together and it worked!

Here's a little video on YouTube of the first play:

Enjoy!

Good job and that's a good record too!

That needle cutter looks as if you have two lever options to operate it?
