According to his response, he already has it up on eBay, but is pessimistic about its chances. Apparently most of his queries have been from people looking for parts…
I mentioned if worse comes to worst, I'd take it at his price. I'd probably better watch the listing...

Now that I see the whole cabinet, it's less than wonderful. Almost looks as if it's had a thin coat of brown paint. Bids are getting near $300, so it'll find a new home soon.

I see $480 . Plus about $60 shipping but less the electric doohickey, he got about the original $600. Makes me feel better about what I spent on my much nicer oak V .

Once you factor in eBay's fees (and Paypal's) for both the shipping and the purchase price, he netted much less than the $600. Assuming he gets the $99 for the archivette, he'll be in a little better shape, but still, he could have sold it outside eBay and probably done better. Just my opinion.
