I highly recommend these needles, the medium tones are wonderful and almost identical to the original half tones made by (or for?) Victor.

Re: Needles on Ebay from soundgen
i have just received a message regarding old used needles !
I've got a pot of used needles. It seems a shame I can't send them somewhere for re-sharpening!
The answer which for some reason a lot of people don't understand
hello Dave , thanks for your message , yes it is a great pity you can't resharpen them , that is because the needles are made from mild iron wire which is soft and can be sharpened , the sharpened iron needles are then " case hardened " to turn them into STEEL needles , to resharpen the steel needles would require much harder and expensive abrasives ! Regards Mike
