Late (spring-loaded) Edison Cabinet Lid Support info needed

The spring loaded lid support mechanism on my Edisonic Schubert isn't set up correctly, and despite my awesome mechanical aptitude I simply cannot for the life of me make it work.

So I wonder whether any of you might be able to please grab a few shots of the lid stay on your Schubert or Beethoven (and I'd imagine other late Edison disc machines) and post them here. I know in some cases this will require grille removal so if it's too much to deal with, that's fine.

But if you can swing it, I especially need to see how the levers and linkages and springs are arranged at the bottom end of the support mechanism, please. Thanks.

While I haven't removed the font of my Schubert lately, I'm fairly certain the lid support arrangement is similar to the Long Play cabinets. Mine was detached when I acquired it, but it's been too long to recall what I did, other than the design seemed counter-intuitive even for one mechanically inclined. Edit: Just curious if the lid supports are the same, as you could check this out if this is the Schubert with the transplanted 1-C mechanism.

Thanks very much to all who responded. Interestingly, my mechanism is different than this and the others I've been shown. Mine is a late s/n, which may explain it. I'll go out and look at the 1-C LP console when it gets warmer today, and see what that reveals.
