This summer I got a VV-IV, my first player, for ~$170. It was dirty, needed a full overhaul (which I did and learned a lot about), but everything was original and worked (missing one knob). You can see the patina and the wear, but now that I cleaned it up it, rebuilt the motor, is a great piece. It did come with a No.2 but I love it. Even my kids (ages 9 and 11) will sit and wind it up and play music that most kids these days would never even think of listening too. They even like going out to find 78's with me. And being a table top model the wife is not upset about taking over the living room with another antique :) .
