Picked up a Hawthorne & Shebley Model 10-D flower horn today from Craigslist. The young man selling it had gotten it from his parents, whom I gathered have now passed away. It is a bit worn and the colors are no longer vibrant, but there are no significant dents and it adds a bit of color to my collection, which mostly features black or brass horns.
You can find what it looked like in its prime in Timothy and George's Antique Phonograph Gadgets, Gizmos & Gimmicks as illustration # 1-48.
