Contest!

Post by Neophone »

Folks,

Presenting the first "Whenever I Get Around To It Phono~Graphic Contest"

Every once in a while I'll be posting an altered graphic somehow related to our hobby - a label, logo, tag, sleeve &c in whole or in part and it's up to you to figure out what it's from.

The first prize?...................................................

.............................insert drum roll here.........................................

..........................................the suspense is killing me...............................................................

............................................I don't know if I can stand it much longer..............................................

........................an all-expense paid trip absolutely-nowhere! ;)

In case of a questionable answer the judges' decision is final. The judges are: Neophone, Uncle Cal, Ernest Hare, Billy Jones, Egyptian Ella and that annoying guy from American Idol.

Winner responsible for all tips, taxes, fees, surcharges, fines, meal vouchers, luggage penalties, security deposits, incidentals and carfare.

Good Luck!

Regards,
John :D

I've got nothing, either. My only thought was it looked like a decal you'd find on a "tin can" children's phonograph.

This looks like a drawing from a 1940s record sleeve.

I tried to copy and paste the image into the Google search engine, but it didn't work.
