Orthophonic Ball Bearings

Post by Victrolacollector »

What is the size of the ball bearings for the needle bar of the Victor Orthophonic? Also, will white reproducer gasket tubing work as a needlebar gasket to hold ball bearings? If not what size should be used?

If you contact Ron Sitko, he can help you with these items and questions.

I second the Ron Sitko suggestion. I asked him the same questions a couple of years ago. 3 days later and for less than $20 the bearings, tubing, and another goodie or two were sitting on my doorstep. Ron give excellent advice and excellent service.

You can buy steel ball bearings 1/16" balls or ⅛" for other items directly from McMaster-Carr. Go to mcmaster.com
web site and they show up in a day.
