Re: WANTED: Threaded stud for automatic recorder
Make sure that you get the correct one. Here are the three screws for Automatics. The top one is for an early Automatic with a thin weight. The middle one is for the recorder and has a collar above the threaded area. The bottom one is for a later Automatic with the heavier weight, it is also a little longer.

Rich,
I'm pretty sure it is the one in the middle because there is a cut away on the inside of the tail weight so it can rest down on the flat collar.

It is the middle one for sure, I have used one of these recorders for many years.

Re: WANTED: Threaded stud for automatic recorder
Eric , I'm sorry but I don't have any of them to sell. I just wanted to make sure that you got the middle one with the collar as it's the correct one for a recorder. I have several recorders but no extra screws. Ther are hard to find. I have thought about having all three typed made but haven't made a decision yet.

Rich , Leo told me he can make it with the dimensions and thread specs. If you are still thinking about having some made. Ericrgordon939 wrote:Make sure that you get the correct one.
